AMATYC's Mathematics Excellence Award

The Mathematics Excellence Award is intended for educators who have made outstanding contributions to mathematics or mathematics education at the two-year college. The award may be given every two years in even-numbered years. AMATYC's Past President chairs the ME Committee made up of one representative from each of AMATYC's 8 regions.

Any interested person may submit a letter of nomination. Members may also nominate themselves. The nomination package should have a 3-page resume or vita and three letters in support of the nomination, including the letter of the nominator. One of these 3 must be from an AMATYC region other than the nominee's home region. Nominations are due November 1, 2011. For more information on the Award, see the AMATYC website at www.amatyc.org .
