Membership Report

VMATYC has 55 current members as of 9/1/2011. You may find the list of members (as of 6/17/2011) in the Excel file on the VMATYC Blackboard site. Also at the end of that file is a listing of the members by region.  Please note that the listing on the website includes 141 members whose memberships expired on 9/1/2011. For those who want to send out notices of Regional VMATYC meetings this fall, the 6/17/2011 spreadsheet is the best source for current email addresses.

Almost all the new or renewing memberships are completed using the internet form that Jon Wilkin created on vmatyc.org and many are paying via PayPal. Karen Walters still records the financial data and sends me a printed copy for me to enter into the membership database. I keep the database and a file of the printed copies for reference. After I receive notification that a member renewed, I send an email with the membership card information embedded in the email.

I sent an email renewal reminder to the members whose membership expired on 9/1/2011. About 50 people have submitted the online membership form since the beginning of the semester.  I have not yet taken the time to update the membership roles for the fall semester, but that should take us to about 100 members once the updates are complete.
