Is VMATYC Calling Your Name???

Terms are two years long.  Here’s a brief description of each position available.  Further details can be found in the Constitution on the VMATYC web site.  Contact the Board member listed after the description for more information.

President-Elect: chairs the Annual Spring Conference Planning Committee.   Followed by a term as President and a term as Past President.  The Past President chairs the Scholarship and Nominating Committees.

Affiliate Delegate: represents VMATYC at the Business Meeting at AMATYC conferences.
These conferences are November 10-13, 2011, in Austin, TX, and November 8-11, 2012, in Jacksonville, FL.

Regional Vice Presidents: coordinate the regional fall conferences.

Recording Secretary: takes minutes and keeps permanent records of meetings of the Association and the Board.

Membership Secretary: keeps membership records, notifies members when their membership expires.

Treasurer: maintains financial records, collects and disperses funds, makes reports at Board meetings and the annual Business meeting.
